Comprehensive Electrotechnical Assessment Services
EWA Tracker Ltd is an EAL approved centre specialising in the Experienced Worker Assessment route for experienced electricians seeking formal qualification.
Eligibility Requirements for EWA Route
To be eligible for the Experienced Worker Assessment route, you should have completed relevant electrotechnical theory training, typically holding a Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation, followed by a minimum of 5 years' industry experience as a practicing electrician. This experience must be verifiable and auditable.
You must be able to provide sufficient evidence from site, supported where necessary by witness testimony, to demonstrate competence against the full qualification requirements.
You must also have an appropriate level of English to read, write, speak, and understand technical information.
As part of the ECS Gold Card route, you will also need to achieve:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Level 3 Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations
- AM2 Assessment (AM2E or AM2ED practical end-test)
Please note: EWA Tracker Ltd does not deliver the 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing, or AM2 assessments. These are provided by separate training providers and NET assessment centres. We can recommend approved providers during your consultation to help you complete these requirements.
The most appropriate route and any additional requirements will be discussed with you during a no-obligation initial consultation.
